What exhaust muffler should i get for my truck?
I have a 1977 Ford F-350 and i was just wonder about which muffler i should use. I am going to put headers on it with true duals but i was initially going to use cherry bomb glasspacks, but my dad's friend told me to go with the Flowmaster 40 series muffler. So I am depending on hopefully getting some good responses. thank you for helping me.
FlowMaster is for sure the way to go if you want a nice sound. A cherry bomb will sound very raspy. FlowMaster has a nice deep rumble. You can also check out Magnaflow wich is the same company as Flowmaster and you can go on the Magnaflow site and listen to how your truck would sound like with Magnaflow on it. I personally think Magnaflow also has a raspy sound and that's why i don't like it. I like a smooth deep rumble with a clean higher tone at higher rpm's and that's why i would also choose the Flowmaster 40 series.
